Halloween special“Trick or treat!” yelled two witches, one ghost, one fairy, and one pirate. Their arms were holding out plastic pumpkins, awaiting the candy sitting in the basket next to the door.
“Well, what do we have here?” I asked in mock surprise. “Oh my, look at the scary witches and ghost. Such a pretty fairy! And is that a pirate I see? Argh matey, are you kids ready for some candy?” They all screamed in reply. I smiled and gave each child 2 big chocolate bars. They all beamed when they saw their load.

Jacob’s POV

“Nessie!” I was getting truly worried now. Why couldn’t I smell her?
I looked around frantically, spinning, trying to see everything at once. “Ness!” I yelled, my voice breaking, “It’s not funny anymore. Please come out!” I strained my ears to hear her, and a tiny giggle floated to me from a nearby bush. Before I could react she launched herself into me. I allowed my knees to give way as she landed me on the floor, laughing breathlessly.
